Short-term training/ Dissertation for Postgraduate Students

IITR accepts limited number of applications from the students pursuing their Postgraduate course from reputed Universities/Colleges in any of the five major R&D areas (Environmental toxicology; Food, drug & chemical toxicology; Nanomaterial toxicology; Regulatory toxicology and Systems toxicology & health risk assessment) of the institute.

A minimum duration of training period is three months with a maximum limit up to one year. A fee @ Rs.4000/- plus service tax @ 12.36% per month per student is charged for the duration of six months. Beyond six months, the fee shall be charged @ Rs.1000/- plus service tax @ 12.36% for each additional month for the remaining period.


Trainees Must Remember
  1. Not to send application through e-mail
  2. Not to send application, if you are pursuing your undergraduate course
  3. Not to make any query about the acceptance or rejection before the application is processed
  4. Not to apply, if you are not eligible for training

A copy of bio data, original recommendation letter of the Head of the Department/ Institution, area in which student would like to pursue training to fulfill the Master degree should be addressed to:
